Sweet Sweet Tyler picked me up once I finally got to Denver.
We stayed in town for a couple of days, hitting a Bob Dylan concert while we were around. Kaylie--on her way to Norway--joined us for the concert. We also made our way to New Belgium (again).

A couple days later, she flew out from Denver, while we bummed around a town called Longmont, waiting for my car (which just broke down) to be repaired.
We camped close to town in St Vrain State Park with Boe Dog and managed to hit up Skeye, Left Hand, and Oscar Blues Brewing.
There was a little 9 hole disc golf course in town too (Loomiller Park), so we played a round on that, and picked up the car two days and $1700 later.
Our original intention was to make it to Lake Havasu, but we were several days and many dollars behind.
We decided to see how much farther we could make it anyways. Why not push it? I was coming off of a Costa Rican high and was in no hurry to return home.
South to Frisco. We played the disc golf course, went to Broken Compass and camped out at Bear Creek Cabin on the Arkansas River.
There is only one other camper around. The old mining cabin still stood, and we checked it out. If you're into abandoned buildings..it was pretty cool. Old stove, built in shelves...all that.

Wednesday. South even farther. One more night in Colorado. Buena Vista; we played the disc golf course, hit up Eddyline and Elevation Brewing, and continued onto Poncha Springs.

We played the disc golf course (naturally) and spent the night in Poncha Springs.
At this point, based on funds and time, it doesn't look like we'll even make it into New Mexico.
We go West.
Stop at High Alpine Brewing.

The last stop in Colorado; Grand Junction disc golf course (Machett Park).

We cook breakfast in the parking lot--on the camp stove, out of the back of the car.
It's entirely too hot.
Tyler scores his first hole-in-one.
It's raining by now. We welcome it.
